About

Hello! I’m Marissa, a graphic designer in San Francisco. I was born and raised in Seattle, so I love the sound of the rain and the smell of coffee (though I only drink tea). I went to college in San Diego, where I graduated with a degree in Art History, so I also like the beach and the giant Robert Irwin installation at the MCASD. After moving to New York and getting a second degree—this time in Graphic Design from Parsons—I fell in love with the subway while working as a designer for Landor. I eventually made it back to the West Coast and have been happily entrenched in the San Francisco design community for the last decade. 

In addition to design work, I’ve also written articles and blogs, including a blog on Landor.com for the better part of a year on the color distribution of my M&Ms. In my spare time, I enjoy relief printmaking and trying (and then later abandoning) lots of different crafts.
